Corn Starch - 400g
Description: This corn starch is unmodified, and typically high in viscosity. It is used in a variety of food applications as a low cost thickener.
Directions: Make a paste with corn starch and cold water before adding to sauces. To mimic the binding ability of gluten, substitute 1 cup of wheat flour for ¾ cup of rice flour and ¼ cup of corn starch.
Storage: When stored in a cool, dry area, in sealed containers, the expected shelf life is 12 months without appreciable loss of flavour or functional characteristics.
