The regular strength formula contains 100 mg of L-theanine, 15 mg of 5-HTP, and 1.5 mg of melatonin, while the extra strength formula contains 200 mg of L-theanine, 15 mg 5-HTP, and 6 mg of melatonin. It is a safe and non-habit-forming aid for anyone who suffers from poor sleep quality or has difficulty falling asleep, whether from jet lag, shift work, or sleep disorders.

Recommended use
Helps to temporarily promote relaxation. Helps increase the total sleep time in people suffering from sleep restriction or altered sleep schedule (e.g., shift-work and jet lag). Helps to prevent and/or reduce the effects of jet lag for people travelling by plane easterly across two or more time zones. Helps to reduce the time it takes to fall asleep in people with delayed sleep phase disorder. Helps reset the body’s sleep-wake cycle.
Recommended dose
Recommended adult dose: Do not take on an empty stomach. All uses except jet lag: Chew 1 tablet once daily at or before bedtime or as directed by a health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks. Jet lag: Chew 1 tablet once daily at bedtime after darkness has fallen, while travelling, and at destination until adaptation to the new daily pattern or as directed by a health care practitioner. For occasional short-term use.
Cautions
Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have one of the following conditions: asthma, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, depression, diabetes or hypoglycaemia, hormonal disorder, immune system disease, liver disease, migraine, or seizure disorders, or if you are taking one of the following medications: anticoagulant, anticonvulsant, blood pressure medications, immunosuppressive medications, sedative, hypnotic or psychotropic medications, or steroids, carbidopa or drugs/supplements with serotonergic activity (these may include, but are not limited to L-tryptophan, S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), St. John’s wort, antidepressants, pain killers, over the counter cough and cold medication containing dextromethorphan, anti-nausea medication and antimigraine medication). Do not use if you have scleroderma or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Some people may experience drowsiness or diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you show signs of weakness, oral ulcers, or abdominal pain accompanied by severe muscle pain, or if you experience skin changes. Mild gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, or cramping) and/or rare allergic reactions have been known to occur in which case, discontinue use. All uses except relaxation &jet lag: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist continuously for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia). Keep out of the reach of children.
