Natural Factors High Potency Multi Enzyme provides a spectrum of enzymes to help and enhance normal digestion. Digestive enzymes do more than aid digestion. Because they are efficient at breaking down protein, carbohydrates, and fats, they help support a healthy microbiome in the digestive tract and improve nutrient absorption. This makes them useful for many conditions related to poor digestion.
This vegetarian formula contains enzymes derived from plant or microbial sources to help and enhance normal digestion. Amylase, a type of pancreatic enzyme, breaks down amylose, a form of starch in carbohydrates and sugars. Cellulase helps break down cellulose, which is plant fibre. Lactase is responsible for the digestion of lactose, the sugar found in milk. Maltase (glucoamylase) and sucrase (invertase) break down maltose and sucrose, types of sugars. Bromelain, sourced from the stem of the pineapple, helps the body digest proteins, fats, and sugars. Papain, an enzyme from papaya fruit, helps the body digest proteins, fats, and sugars, and lipase breaks down fats.
Contains no artificial colours, preservatives, or sweeteners; no dairy, sugar, wheat, gluten, yeast, soy, egg, fish, shellfish, animal products, tree nuts, or GMOs. Suitable for vegetarians/vegans.

Vegetarian capsule (carbohydrate gum [cellulose], purified water), microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).
Recommended use
Digestive enzymes to help digest proteins. Helps reduce gas production/flatulence following a meal rich in fermentable carbohydrates (such as vegetables, pulses/legumes/beans, and whole grains). Helps prevent gastrointestinal intolerance of oligosaccharides/fermentable carbohydrates.
Recommended dose
Recommended adult dose: 1 capsule daily with food or as directed by a health care practitioner. For prolonged use, consult a health care practitioner.
Cautions
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have diabetes or gastrointestinal lesions/ulcers, if you are taking anticoagulants/blood thinners, anti-inflammatories, or antibiotics, if you are having surgery, or if you are allergic to latex or fruits (such as avocado, banana, chestnut, passion fruit, fig, melon, mango, kiwi, pineapple, peach, and tomato). Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Hypersensitivity, allergy, headaches, heartburn, bloating, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea have been known to occur, in which case discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. Keep out of the reach of children.
