Ginkgo bilobaĀ is one of the oldest living tree species in the world; geological records indicate this plant has been growing on Earth for 150ā200 million years. It has been used to help brain function.
New Roots Herbal only uses a standardized extract from the leaves.Ā Ginkgo bilobaĀ leaves contain flavonol glycosides, lactones, and terpenes.
Through hundreds of studies done on this plant, it is now known to act on the cardiovascular system. It acts on the lining of the blood vessels, toning the venous system, thus enhancing blood flow (circulation) to the brain and extremities.
Ginkgo bilobaĀ helps support peripheral circulation, which includes the brain, improving brain functions such as memory.
Adults:Ā Take 1 capsule two or three times daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Duration of use:Ā Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.
